Official Recruitment Partner of The 2018 Women in IT Awards

Frank Recruitment Group is very excited to announce that we have been named the official Recruitment Partner of The 2018 Women in IT Awards, set to be held January 31, 2018 in London.

The Women in IT Awards is an event held in both London and the United States that dedicates its time and resources to tackle the important issue of gender imbalance within the technology industry, an industry the Frank Recruitment Group calls home. Every year, this event highlights and rewards the various innovations that women have made in the world of technology, all while identifying new female role models and pushing forward an extensive dialogue surrounding gender equality among the top technology influencers.

The awards, which were first handed out in 2015, are organized by the business technology magazine Information Age.

Ben Rossi, the Editorial Director of Vitesse Media and the founder of the Women in IT Awards said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Frank Recruitment Group as we continue to roll out the Women in IT Awards on a global scale. As the world’s largest tech diversity event, the Women in IT Awards has been at the forefront of efforts across the technology ecosystem to tackle its gender imbalance by showcasing the achievements and innovation of its leading women to provide a high-profile platform for identifying new female role models in IT leadership, as well as bringing together all parts of the industry to further dialogue around diversity initiatives. As a leading voice in technology diversity, it’s great to be working with Frank Recruitment Group as we both continue to grow the influential UK awards as well as launch a US version of the initiative in May 2018.”

The UK IT community gathers at last year’s Women in IT Awards ceremony in London.

Since 2006, we have become one of the leading global niche IT recruitment businesses in the world, employing more than 1,000 people across our offices in Newcastle, London, Dallas, Melbourne, New York City, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Berlin, and Singapore.

Zoë Morris, the Chief Operating Officer at the Frank Recruitment Group, said: “The Women in IT Awards are vital to continuing the dialogue of gender equality in a fast-growing IT industry. We are incredibly honored to partner with such an important event that will ultimately shape the future for women leading the way in information technology.”

In addition to partnering with this event, the Frank Recruitment Group is also shortlisted for the event’s E-Skills Initiative of the Year Award, an award that honors organizations that have undertaken an initiative that encouraged and helped women improve their digital skills and make a return to a career in the technology sector. This past summer, FRG’s Microsoft recruitment brand Nigel Frank rolled out the Diversity in Dynamics initiative, which was set-up to propel women with a foundation in IT back into the workplace, and into an exciting, permanent new career in IT consultancy.

Partnering with this high class event builds on a period of significant momentum for our company. Earlier this year, we were recognized in The Sunday Times International Track 200 of British private companies with the fastest-growing international sales. This year we also won Best UK Overseas Operation from The Global Recruiter Awards, as well as named in the Top 10 of LinkedIn’s Most Socially Engaged Staffing Agencies list.
