Our story

2006
Nigel Frank is founded in Newcastle upon Tyne, starting out with just three employees.

2009
Nigel Frank enters the European market, delivering permanent Microsoft Dynamics professionals from our hub in Newcastle.

2010
Our second brand Mason Frank launches, focusing on Salesforce recruitment in the UK and Europe, and we open new offices in London, New York and Singapore.

2011
Nigel Frank expands into other Microsoft ‘stack’ products. The company’s Global Net Fee Income YoY growth reaches 218% and our Global EBITDA YoY growth hits 267%.

2012
Frank Recruitment Group is incorporated to reflect the breadth of our services, as we continue to open up new markets and launch new divisions from our London, Melbourne and New York offices. Frank Recruitment Group’s Contract Net Fee Income grows by 143%, while Permanent Net Fee Income grows by 52%.

2013
Mid-market private equity firm LivingBridge invests in the company, and Nigel Frank wins Recruitment International ‘Deal of the Year’ award.

2014
We unveil Washington Frank, a global recruitment brand for non-Dynamics ERP.

2015
Our global headcount reaches 600.

2016
Anderson Frank launches to service NetSuite recruitment. We also receive new investment from global investor TPG Growth, whose portfolio includes Airbnb, Uber and Spotify, and open offices in Berlin and Philadelphia, leading to our headcount exceeding 1,000 people globally.

2017
Our new office opens in Dallas. We debut at #77 in The Sunday Times Profit Track 100 which profiles Britain’s private companies with the fastest-growing profits, and also feature in the UK’s Top 1000 Companies to Inspire, the Sunday Times International Track 200, and Sunday Times Grant Thornton Top Track 250. We also launched FRG Technology Consulting, specialising in recruitment in the latest, exciting technologies.

2018
Revolent, our world-leading cloud talent creation firm, is born. We also launch two new staffing brands—Nelson Frank and Jefferson Frank—and open offices in Tampa, Denver, Barcelona, and Amsterdam. We also appear in The Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 for the second year in a row, and also place in The Sunday Times Top Track 250 and Britain’s Private Companies with the Fastest-Growing Sales.

2019
Our global headcount reaches exceed 1,500 with new offices opening in London, Irvine and Scottsdale.

2020
Our expansion continues with the opening of our second Spanish office in Madrid, and we appoint a new Chief Customer Officer and President of US Operations to support our growth post-covid.

2021
We started 2021 with a bang, introducing our latest EMEA location in Geneva, Switzerland.
